The marriage system in Bannerlord is essential if you want to retain your legacy in the realm of Calradia and, perhaps more importantly, continue playing once your character has died. Your character wonât live forever in this game, and whether by death in combat or the slow decay of time, they will eventually die.

mqh5L. Apparently you can't marry if your 39 or older. Usually if you meet a potential spouse, there's a dialogue option where you declare yourself an admirer, followed by one or two Persuasion challenges. After that you can go to the father or your future wife, make a Barter, and that's that. Will usually cost around 5k.
